Join in the fun and put your CSI skills to the test for the second annual “Clue at the Zoo”, a Safari mystery fundraising event for Crosswinds Youth Services, in collaboration with the Brevard County Sheriff’s Offi ce. The event takes place on September 9th, 2017, at the Brevard Zoo, 8225 N. Wickham Road, Melbourne, Florida 32940. Major Andrew Walters and Summit Shah, Crosswinds Youth Services Board members, are the co-chairs for this great event.

Guest detectives will be invited to put their CSI skills to the test and try to identify the mystery villain. Guests will be sworn in as detectives by Sheriff Wayne Ivey and will be given Sports Packs with detective gear to help solve the mystery. Various crime scenes and clues will be present throughout the Zoo. One lucky guest detective’s ticket will be drawn for the Grand Prize. Complimentary appetizers and beverages will be available. A cash bar will also be available.

A limited number of tickets will be available starting August 1st for $50.00 per person. Registration begins at 5:00 pm. Guest detectives are advised to wear comfortable shoes for walking as they search the Zoo for clues! Proceeds of the event will benefit Crosswinds Youth Services, a nonprofit organization located in Cocoa which provides emergency shelter for children ages 10-17, as well as counseling, case management, transitional living, a Civil Citation program and other services for youth in crisis and their families.
